Satoko Fujii, pianist and composer, took five years to develop this
powerful response to the horrors of Fukushima’s nuclear
catastrophe in 2011. She and her partner in marriage and
music, trumpeter Natsuki Tamura, come together with the Sirens Big Band to draw this monumental work up to its full height. This promises to be a colossal performance of scale,
emotion, humanity and musicianship.
