Peter Blamey Five Fertile Exchanges CD launch

Recorded in the Victorian Alps in 2016, Five Fertile Exchanges documents some of Peter's responses to the Kiewa Hydroelectric Scheme, countering its monolithic infrastructure with a range of considerably smaller electrical 'devices.' Instead of attempting to dominate and exploit the landscape to produce power, the variable nature of these devices responded to the climatic and geographical conditions of the locations in which they were situated, generating accounts of the resident energies of those environments, all realised as sound. For the launch, Peter is planning five performances that are in part aimed at reconstructing these outdoor experiments indoors!
