Continuing with our drawing response invitations, people are welcome to come and enjoy the artist’s sonic impressions and if you feel that way inclined, you are welcome to draw in response to what you are hearing and feeling, otherwise sit back and enjoy.

Line up :
Rooftop 8
Lachlan Chang and Samual Wagstaff
Two young musicians aspiring to write and experiment with a variety of musical styles and techniques. The name Rooftop 8 acts as a sentimental tribute to the band’s nostalgic rooftop jam sessions atop of Music Feeds Studio in Sydney, located in the 8th building of the precinct. Starting off with only an acoustic guitar and a drum kit, the two have always experimented with disproportionate instrumentation, striving to create a multitude of layers regardless of limiting numbers. With heavy influences including Radiohead, Saskwatch, and The Wild Reeds, expect a compilation of both organic and electronic collaboration throughout their pieces. So make sure to sit back, relax, and get ready to experience the chilled vibe of a local two man jam session!!

Mark Hall

Mark Hall is an improvisational guitarist from Sydney. He runs weekly live shows from his book store and also runs the label Eupcaccia Records. His improvisational style is highly chromatic and touches ever so slightly on the acts of automatic writing, whilst following his own lead consciously. Dynamics are also important to his style, with an important
emphasis on heaviness and movement.
Usually seen around the place with various line ups, this is literally his first performance as a solo artist.
