Microfiche are an improvising ensemble whose music explores the meeting points of improvisation and composition, through miniatures less than a minute long to durational works of up to thirty minutes.
The band launched its debut album in December 2016 with a follow-up live EP released in mid 2017. Their Johnston Street Jazz performance will feature a mixture of works drawn from these recordings alongside new works they'll be playing for the first time!
