Third Space is an experimental sound project and sonic disruption. Three artists -- Shareeka (akka), Krishtie (index), and Cilla -- who are bound by a desire to explore the dissonance of forming a sense of self amidst dislocation from culture and lineages. A yearning to carve a space that unapologetically centres the experiences, voices and music of marginalised peoples.
Third Space is about making room ambivalence, to question, to challenge. An invitation for people to honor their own sound, context and background and push the edges of genre and sound. A call to expand and challenge creative capacities alongside social consciousness. Each event we invite artists to delve into sounds they haven’t explored previously, to hold space to experiment with process, themselves.

ACCESSIBILITY
Freda's is wheelchair accessible. Earplugs and water will be provided throughout the night. There will be gender neutral bathrooms at the venue. The space is not 100% scent-free, however we will not be using any smoke machines during this event. No smoking is allowed in the building, smokers are requested to smoke outside and away from the doors.
