Apparent Motion + NECTAR are excited to present the next in their series of workshops, this time in collaboration with AfterHour.

We are thrilled to be joined by a panel of Audiologists and Researchers from the National Acoustics Laboratories (NAL) to discuss an important but often ignored subject – Ear Health. This workshop will cover a wide range of topics including how the ear works, how hearing can be damaged, and the prevention, minimisation, and management of hearing damage in both musicians and gig goers + plenty, plenty more.

Speakers Include:

➕ Dr Elizabeth Beach ~ Head of Behavioural Sciences, NAL
➕ Dr Lyndal Carter ~ Senior Research Audiologist, NAL
➕ Dr Celene McNeill ~ Director of Healthy Hearing & Balance Care in Bondi Junction
➕ Ms. Jermy Pang ~ Research Audiologist, NAL

Alongside this in-depth discussion, your ears will be soothed by musical interludes from some of our favourite purveyors of twisted electronics.

➕ Milkffish
➕ DJ Off It
