The City the Colour of Stars is a contemporary shadow theatre performance by The Shadow Theatre of Anaphoria, accompanied by a live microtonal orchestra. Set in a future AI designed city where architecture reflects the data of its inhabitants, the performance unfolds as a surreal fable of technology, alienation and connection.

Through intricate puppetry, light, and original microtonal compositions, the performance conjures a world both comic and uncanny.

The result is a luminous allegory of our technological desires and fears, where even shadows reveal the patterns of the human heart.
