Lewis Lockwood Mosley - Album Launch Solo Show

I still have the Moon to write her is the debut release from Lewis Lockwood Mosley, Eora/Sydney based composer and performer.

Written between 2022 and 2024, the album represents something of a shift for Lockwood Mosley. Writing mostly at the piano, the eight pieces see Lockwood Mosley stepping into short, simple forms, balancing overt sentimentality with a direct sincerity. Drawing on influences from Harold Budd to Hayden Pedigo, the end result is a considered set of individual moments, coming together to create a starkly reflective listening space. With the bulk of the material recorded in one sitting in late 2024, and slowly finished throughout 2025, this album is Lockwood Mosley’s first release under his own name.

To celebrate the release of the album, Lewis Lockwood Mosley will be performing twice in Sydney. Playing at Lazy Thinking on the 25th of February, he will be performing with iconic Sydney musicians Ella Lockwood Mosley, Jacob Turl, and Hinano Fujisaki, with Withdrawe and Sofia Carey also on support. (Tickets for this show will be available on the door on the night!)

On the 26th of February, Lockwood Mosley will perform solo at a secret location, supported by Jancsi. There are a limited amount of tickets to this show!
