OOT (QLD) / Album Launch
Soot burst into the hearts of Brisbane kidz everywhere in 2018, and rejuvenated the dead hearts of older jerks too. Totally fresh and vital punk music, Soot expand in 2019 with debut album 'Pockfaced' - out on cassette in February through Eternal Soundcheck. Soot are the kind of rare, unique band that appears out of nowhere every so often - the type that instantly clicks as something special for those searching for it. No doubt this album is going to go down as a cult classic.

MARRIED MAN / Album Launch
Formerly the solo project of Sydney singer and guitarist Sarafina Pea, now in three-piece form with Kim (Photogenic) on bass and Marnie (NO DoZ) on drums. Barely a year playing together and they're already releasing their debut album; layered melodies swirl and echo above the taut, wirey band resulting in some sort of depressing fever dream. It's called 'Hard Bargain' and it's out on LP via Lesstalk Records in late January.

Sydney's now longstanding deconstructed rock band make an infrequent public appearance. Some will claim undefinable, the only constants being guitar, bass, drums, yelling (not necessarily in that order) and maybe... dare I say... groove. Probably the only band that could loosely be described as groovy you're going to want to see.

Attendance is FREE.

This show will be taking place on the stolen lands of the Gadigal of the Eora nation, Sovereignty was never ceded.
